Project # 3: Word Search
Using a website called Puzzlemaker, I created a word search for
students with my partner Lindsay. We decided to create a puzzle about
the beach. We thought of 15 words that realated to the topic and we
placed them in a textbox on the website. This box automatically put the
words in a wordsearch for us. We copied and pasted the puzzle from the
website into a Microsoft Word document. From there we used the
printscreen button on the keyboard to get the puzzle into paint. We cut
out the puzzle to place it in our Nvu website. I like this project
because word searches are fun for kids and the website is easy and has
many possibilities.
